    Due to high running costs, the minimum amount of bookers required to run this course is 2 people. If you are booked on a course you will be notified 2 weeks before if we are unable to run it, and a credit will be issued or alternative dates will be offered.

  • The course is broken into modules covering the following content:

    • What is outdoor first aid?

    • First aid equipment

    • Summon assistance

    • Monitoring

    • Scene survey

    • Primary survey

    • Secondary assessment

    • Resuscitation

    • Disorders of respiration

    • Wounds and bleeding

    • Hypovolaemic shock

  • This is a nationallyu regulated RQF Level 3 Award in Outdoor First Aid Valid for 3 years

    There is sufficient content in this course to satisfy the requirements of the HSE in respect of Emergency First Aid at Work, as set by the regulatory body for First Aid – the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

    This comprehensive two-day course covers a wide range of First Aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with emergency situations with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way, particularly where professional medical help is not immediately available.
